Independent Growth Finance (IGF), a leading independent commercial finance provider, has appointed Jamie O’Neill as Asset Based Lending (ABL) director. In this role, Jamie will focus on origination activity in London and the South East of England.  

Jamie will work alongside director Jon Hughes and commercial director Michael Fletcher, to provide flexible and innovative financing solutions to companies across the region.

Jamie has 12 years’ experience working in the ABL industry, starting his career in 2008 at RBS Invoice Finance on their fast-track development programme. Since then, Jamie has developed a strong track record in structuring complex ABL facilities across receivables, inventory, plant & machinery, property and term loans. Jamie’s experience includes supporting clients, sponsors and introducers in the lower mid-market space and in support of events such as management buy-outs, management buy-ins, acquisitions and growth.

Commenting on his appointment, Jamie said: “the IGF approach to relationship lending and their ability to provide borrowers and advisers alike with clarity, is exactly what’s required at present. Lenders like IGF who can work alongside a management team and deliver when required have never been more important.”

IGF works with businesses with a turnover of £5 million to £200 million with finance provided predominantly on a secured basis against receivables, inventory, plant & machinery and property.
